It’s not unusual for businesses or successful business people to donate goods, services and even cash to local charities, particularly around the holiday season. Fortunately, Jacksonville is blessed with an abundance of large corporate entities and mom-and-pop commercial enterprises that view charitable contributions as more than just the right thing to do—they actively encourage employees to give of their time and talents, and support them in doing so.

A Jacksonville support services contractor said it was awarded four federal contracts totaling up to $6.7 million in work.
