The Jacksonville Business Journal recognizes today’s successful Chief Financial Officer is more than a bean counter. They “manage people, systems, and technology infrastructure in an increasingly scrutinized regulatory environment.” CTI’s Bob Sheaves was among JBJ’s Ultimate CFO Honorees for 2013.

After serving 28 years in the US Coast Guard, Sheaves ventured into the world of defense contracting, landing with CTI in the fall of 2006. Since he joined the CTI Team, he’s been described by Chris Imbach, CTI President and CEO as a “costing genius… We are constantly being audited by the Department of Defense [DCAA]. Bob is just very natural at government cost accounting.” Sheaves is described by neighbor Ed Chambers as “the voice of reason… well respected.” Audits aside, Sheaves describes being most proud of “the culture of CTI.  We strive to establish a culture that makes [a positive] impact in the workforce to they can make an impact at home and in the community.”
